Brentford 4-0 Manchester United: Erik ten Hag’s side thrashed in west London by brilliant Bees.

Erik ten Hag said that he could have substituted all of his “naive” players at halftime against Brentford after a string of mistakes left them down 4-0.

Manchester United put on one of their worst displays in 30 years of Premier League play during an astonishing first half in the sweltering heat of west London, with Ten Hag’s mistake-prone team doing their new manager no favors.

The goalkeeper’s pass placed former Brentford player Christian Eriksen in trouble, and Mathias Jensen gained possession in the penalty area for a straightforward finish after David de Gea had allowed Josh Dasilva’s easy shot to go under his body at the near post after ten minutes (18).

Ben Mee scored in his home debut in the 30th minute, doubling the Bees’ lead before halftime. After 35 minutes, Bryan Mbuemo completed a quick counterattack after Ivan Toney had supplied him, giving the Bees a 4-0 lead.

Chelsea 2-2 Tottenham: Antonio Conte and Tuchel Tuchel are both dismissed following Harry Kane’s dramatic equalizer.

After Harry Kane’s last-second equalizer gave Tottenham the unlikely of points in a frantic 2-2 draw with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, Thomas Tuchel and Antonio Conte were both dismissed as tempers escalated.

Conte and Tuchel, who had already been cautioned for a physical incident following Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg’s first equalizer for Spurs in the 68th minute, exchanged blows after Kane headed in a second equalizer for a below-par Spurs team in the 96th minute.

After a commanding first half performance, Kalidou Koulibaly’s thunderous volley (19) gave Chelsea a deserving lead. However, Spurs managed to stay in the game and equalized when Hojbjerg’s drilled strike punished Jorginho’s blunder in the penalty area.

Reece James (77), who raced past the despondent Italian and down the touchline to celebrate with the Chelsea supporters, restored the hosts’ advantage after Conte’s boisterous celebration outside of his technical area infuriated Tuchel. The Chelsea manager retaliated.

Kane’s dramatic injury-time equalizer ignited the final showdown between the coaches as Chelsea was only seconds away from securing consecutive Premier League victories under Tuchel, who initially appeared to have the last laugh.

Liverpool 1-1 Crystal Palace: Luis Diaz equaliser after Darwin Nunez is sent off for a headbutt salvages point for Reds

Darwin Nunez was sensationally dismissed for a headbutt on his full debut, but Luis Diaz managed to save a 1-1 draw for Liverpool against Crystal Palace at Anfield.

When Nunez made a poor decision in response to a push from Joachim Andersen in the first half of the match, Palace were headed for a humiliating loss in Jurgen Klopp’s team’s home debut in the Premier League.

The mood at Anfield was dramatically changed by Diaz’s superb solo goal, which he scored when his team needed something exceptional. When Zaha hit the post for the excellent Palace, they came the closest to winning, but the draw means neither team has won yet this year.
